    The 34 hours must include 2 periods of 0100 to 0500 hours. And you can only take 1 restart every 7 days (168 hours).

    This is my first post and haven't had the time to read through this entire thread so excuse me if this was asked before. My question is.. are we allowed to drive and work up to fourteen hours if we are within a hundred mile radius of the terminal?

    Yep, You're allowed up to fourteen hours even if you're 2,000 miles from the terminal :)

    Depends on if you're using a timecard or a log book. There are some differences.

    My last job we used People Net and we had to log out for a half hour break. My new company uses time cards and says we do not have to log out for the break as long as we are in a 150 air mile radius.

    I'm just looking for a straight answer if anyone knows. I've talked to quite a few truckers and it seems like everyone has their own interpretation of the rules.
