Hahah that's like buying Bananarama album because you thought you liked one song, only to realise yeh..na

 

I bought the Ice-T cassette at a truck stop, using my fuel points off one of the big chain cards... can't remember which, but at least I didn't have to actually PAY for it, lol. That tape had a couple of funny songs on it, but ya had to be heller drunk to listen to it, aye? My friends & I would laugh at the BS lyrics, then lose the tape out of the cassette player and call, "NEXT!!!"

P.S. I'm dating myself with that cassette reference, some kids nowadays have no idea what I mean when I say that, lol. Same way ya can't find a typewriter in most modern homes... maybe in a museum.

 

Funny thing is rappers back then at some point knew when to get out of the game!
Ice Cube,Ice-T,Public Enemy,plus a few others were smart enough to change to something else before they ended getting put 6 feet under!!
Even Luke of the 2 Live Crew called it a career for the most part, and some of his music was as raunchy as could be!!lol
