Houston, TX Good paying regional companies

Good luck...most co's around Houston suck...

 

Not to sound racist, but most truck driving jobs in Houston are filled by Hispanic drivers. They work for next to nothing. So unless you are willing to work for very low wages, find something else to do.

 

Yep...i live their and large vast majority of the driving jobs pay peanuts...that's why i don't do it..

 

@Dsparil the majority of the LTL carriers such as old dominion, Estes, saia, southeastern, southwestern, yrc and southwestern. Along with the food service industry. Also there's is a higher demand on tanker jobs so there's plenty to choose from. Also to my fellow truckers that's a bit ignorant to say that most trucking jobs here in houston are filled with Hispanics. If anything I have seen Hispanics do dump trailers type of job, other than that everywhere else is mix.

 

Hazmat environmental group, however they don't allow pets

 

I live in Houston and I can say for a fact that a lot of people except these sub par driving jobs are sub par pay... A lot of them are Minorities I'd watch only because they tend to settle for anything they can get and frankly that's what's ruining the local driving market in Houston very few of them pay worth a dam anymore..

 

And non Hispanics don't work for next to nothing?

So minorities are ruining the job market?
