I'll have you know that our dockhands would never, EVER dream of doing something like...
...mmf...mmf...
BWAHAHAHAHAAA!! Sorry, I couldn't say that with a straight face...!!
-
Exactly. It's loading the "garbage freight" that scares me about outbound dock and hub work. I like to say that I'm an expert at loading 48"X40" 4 foot high pallets. All that other stuff, not so much!jmz, Rusty Trombone, Texas_hwy_287 and 1 other person Thank this.

Busy, beer doesn’t stop going out the Busch Plant. I was asked If I wanted to work my 2nd straight Saturday coming up I said yes !
road_runner and jtaran06 Thank this. -
Why are contractors pulling DF trailers? I saw one on Friday.
-
Maybe is cheaper to pay a contractor. I know Averitt gives their freight to their contractors(landstar) than averitt drivers.
-
Most LTL have contractors pulling seems like. I’ve traded trailers with a Schneider team a few weeks ago.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this. -
We had 3-4 landstar O/O’s pulling sets out of the hub I turn every night until this mess started then Saia said goodbye to them.
Texas_hwy_287, jmz and jtaran06 Thank this. -
Not sure if you see them in your neck of the woods, but there was a Varna trucking with one of our sets in PHX terminal last week, seemed like they went away for awhile but now they are back.
-
I haven’t seen them here in the northeast. I’m sure the O/O’s will be rolling again once things get back to normal.
