I was on nights hauling volume loads to hospitals and nursing homes but with all these places (schools, day cares etc) shutting down and restaurant business going down we’re going to get it here I think next week.

Is restaurant business down yet? So far I haven't seen it but sometimes it takes a bit of time to hit since orders go in a bit before the deliveries. I'm curious to see what this next week holds.
Most of what I do is fast food and I expect drive through business to hold out longer than sit down dining but I could be wrong. -
Ours would be we do a lot of sit down and mom and pop places I mean I don’t expect anyone to go out of business I know Washington State said Restaurant we’re down 10%.
I’m in broad line so I don’t do fast food places now however like pizza places that do delivery and food delivery services are probably going to be fine.
It’s the mom and pop sit down street level places that may get it a bit though.
plus schools , day cares places like that close and who I and double_r work for we work for the same company out of the same warehouse our company is big in schools and stuff. Friday our average case load per truck was about 600 cases. -
I saw this sign at a sit down bar/grill place tonight that normally would be open right now.Coffey Thanks this.

Times are getting exciting that's for sure.
Good luck to you, I hope you're financially prepared for a little bit of a personal down turn. This would be a bad time for those living paycheck to paycheck.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
I’m fine I don’t live pay check to pay check anyhow so I’ll be okay. Might be a little light here for a while but I I’ve actually taken steps to decrease expenses. I just fired my old cable provider that move alone will save me $600.00 a year and I also turned my thermostat down to lower my gas bill. I also down graded my car insurance to save a couple hundred bucks on that end.BigDog Trucker, Banker and McUzi Thank this.

It is true though times are getting exciting almost surreal here in Ohio 50% of the state is shut down I think we have 8-9 cases of Coronovirus here, but don’t quote me on that.BigDog Trucker and McUzi Thank this.

we ate at chain steakhouses the last 2 weekends. no wait. normally there is a 45-60 minute wait. the restaurant was about 1/2 full last night. central indiana.
aside from that, i haven’t noticed anything abnormal. but...i don’t get out much. still seems to be plenty of traffic of a morning/evening.Texas_hwy_287 and Mike2633 Thank this. -
Governor DeWine here in Ohio ordered all restaurants and bars to shut down there dining room operations.
