How a car dealership handles a panhandler.

    I usually just ask them why they don't seek out a local church, Salvation Army, Goodwill, or Department of Human services.

    I pay taxes and the DHS exists to help hard luck cases so they shouldn't have to come to me begging.

    Unfortunately it's becoming a daily occurrence at some of the trucks stops as well. The Pilot in Liverpool,NY(near Syracuse) comes to mind. A lot of these folks don't understand this isn't the 1970s,80s or 90s anymore where drivers had wads of cash in their pockets.

    Saw a panhandler outside of there one day and I wondered, if you're really that broke and have kids, how many more trucks have to drive by until the lightbulb comes on in your f head?????

    The last time I gave one of these beggars a buck was about 15 years ago in south Florida. He was right next to the newspaper guy with a sign that read "I'm not gonna lie, I just want some beer!"

    I appreciated his honesty.
