How about "Vocational" trucks. I consider any truck like dumps, garbage, logging, mixers, etc. to be vocational trucks.
How about a dump truck sub-forum?

Are you including or referring to End-dump? If so you can get a little creative with the loads. While for the most part, the bulk material (rock, sand, ice, wheat, corn, ect..), I have heard of them being used to haul loads like Rubber tire inner-tubes. The company I drive for has hauled, glass for recycling.
So while they're thought to be mainly used for dirt, rock and sand. they can be used to haul much more. I posted in another forum/thread about one of our O/Os, hauling Live Rattlesnakes. -
im planning on buying a dump truck, once the economy recovers i will be a in a position to make decent money and be home every night/weekends.
a lot of friends/family still in the business but they tell me to wait for a recovery no money right now, nothing beats the ease of driving a dump truck, and not being away from home for weeks. -
I've heard of guys hauling steel in end dumps also.

What about roll off trucks?

I'd say those go with the tanker, bulk, dump truck forum.

I haul live floor up in the northeast, and we haul anything you can think of from trash, recyclables, dirt, wood chips, I've even hauled 55 gallon drums to an incinerator.
