Someone mentioned to me that I should get my DOT card (is this department of transportation card?) and I should be able to get a job in North Dakota delivering supplies, food, etc. (non CDL jobs). How do I get my DOT? Do I just walk into a clinic and ask for a physicals?
I'm still in Baltimore, MD trying to relocate to where the jobs are.
how and where do I get my DOT?

It's referred to more as a DOT medical card. I would google "Baltimore DOT physical" and you'll find the local clinics. Call around as the prices vary greatly. You should be able to find one around $40.
Them type jobs you can get anywhere. You don't have to go to ND. -
Thanks for this. Just wondering if getting my DOT medical card will require a drug test? I want to make sure I'm clean before I even take the test. I remember my brother did not pass the drug test when he tried to apply for work at the United States Post Office. It was prescription drugs and it shouldn't impair his performance, but rules are rules and any trace of drug in the system could disqualify anyone.

during a DOT physical, they will do lab work on blood and urine basically testing for diabetes, blood sugar and stuff like that. It's not a drug test though.
Consider a DOT physical nothing more than a regular physical. It has certain criteria that has to be met though to be considered fit for driving a commercial motor vehicle.
To go into it here is more than I care to type what those criteria are. Talk to your doctor about it.
Jobs driving a truck are all over. NoDak is a harsh place to live. I know, I lived there from 1969 to 2005. I'd just as soon never go back. Seen some mean nasty weather. From -40 in the winter to 108 in the summer. Blizzards that will make you wonder what people are so pissy about hurricanes over to thunderstorms that will change the landscape in a matter of hours.
