Your Quickbooks should have it all organized and then store in folders organized by date and time.
How are you keeping your receipts organized?

Thx, I think I'll play with the Google drive and see how that works. I like how you can make spreadsheets as well their for free and type of documents as well.

As far as backup, using CamScanner you can easily create a PDF file of all the pictures in a folder and email them to yourself, or just click the share button, and then click your email app or any other app like the Adobe Acrobat app. I don’t remember the last time I used my laptop for anything business-related. Yes, it took some learning before I was able to do it all. I have an iPhone 7 Plus, and a good quality camera is everything. -
I think you all are crazy for having digital copies without paper copies also. I’ve had computers crash, external hard drives crash, and thumb drives crash, and SD cards become corrupted. All data was lost on each of these instances. Cloud storage is safer but I don’t trust them either. The best place to store digital copies are CDs. Only way to loose the data on them is if they are physically destroyed or scratched.
Best thing to do is have some sort of spreadsheet and categorize all you expenses at least once a week. Yes, it takes some time, but some stuff in business just takes time to do right. After you do that, you can just file your receipts wherever, you won’t ever need them again unless you are audited.Midwest Trucker Thanks this.
