Tell them Comdata to contact you with Schneider Fuel program. You don't have to work for Schneider. There is another program within Comdata to get you 10c off at Flying J and Pilots without 1.50 fee. I am thinking of going through the hassle of joining NASTC. Everybody saying they're the best.

Oh..there are T-checks or EFS checks but everyone charges something, I imagine.

Get a checkbook with your business name on the checks pulling from your business account?
Do the checks really have to be from one of the fuel card places?

Pretty much. Individual businesses checking accounts are seldom welcomed.

Nowadays most places that have lumpers(and the associated fees) no longer accept cash(the IRS is clamping down on employers paying “under the table”-they want to see a paper trail). Our company gives them Comcheks. The hard part is waiting for the PO number. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes or less, sometimes as long as 20 minutes which it shouldn’t.

Hi! How do you pocket the fee? I have heard of guys asking what the lumper fee is, then unloading the truck themselves and paying themselves the lumper fee. How can you do that without getting fired? Lol... Job is pretty important to me, but I need the extra cash if I can. The company will pay me to unload it (on loads that require it) but it's crap for pay. I would rather do it myself and get the lumper fee.

They usually won’t take Company or personal checks. More so lately, some won’t take cash. Crackhead lumpers must run off with it.
