How Are Your Rates Holding Up?

    theirs a load on landstars broker board for 62k plus permits and other stuff. Ca to Pa weighs 135k or so. is that a fair rate because thats way beyond my level so iam asking to learn.

    I'm with ya, rate at $21 mile sounds good, but then again i don't operate a truck/trailer big enought to move something that heavy. I'm guessing it would need a 9 axle set-up, since it is only 20' long..... but the cost of that kind of equipment is beyond me, I'm guessing it would cost about $150k for a trailer to handle that.

    you sound more like a racist and im not going to argue with such a ignorant post. But i will say this, it dont matter what color or shape you are people are moving freight and just because some have common sense to make money than so be it, talking about brokers. The one with knowledge will accept such load or simply say no. And you are totally wrong about Hispanic moving cheap freight. I know plenty of "white Friends" that move cheap freight just to get moving. But let me be stereo type and blame them.

    It's above my pay scale lol. West coast has different weight laws so wasn't sure if east coast trailer would work either. Didn't know if it would have to be transferred. It's interesting anyway. you can probally look at all that stuff on the internal LS board though.
