62 through Eureka is a good road, just a few miles of watching your tandems on the curves. No hills with break checks or runway ramps. I ran through there the other morning bout 2 am. It's really nothing to get wound about.

If it is only 12 miles...it is a LONG 12 miles (in my opinion)---of course I don't try and represent myself as a super trucker. Nobody can say "they love it" and actually mean it. It IS pretty much unavoidable...but you don't LOVE it by the time you're through---you love being through.
Like someone said....keep your eyes on your mirrors on the curves, don't run anyone or anything over; get on through there, and get on with the rest of your day....then hope you don't have to do it again for a long time. -

Ok I went and drove 62 and you all are right, it was nothing that would give me flashbacks and nightmares later on. Though I got to say I had to take it pretty slow when forced into the opposing lane of traffic in order to keep my trailer from tearing through the sides of those mountains. Some of those curves were a bit sharp.
Probably a little bit easier for east bound traffic.DustyRoad Thanks this. -
Ok, now you're ready for AR-7 south. but be advised...it takes longer than running the big road. Especially when Heavy!
