The one that I’ll always remember is the 1000kw 3412 powered one we had. Normally anything over 1000kw was 3500 series engines but this one was a twin compounded turbo 3412. Had a turbo in the center of each head then a bigger one for each bank bolted to the rear housing so a total of 4 turbo’s. 30 degrees in Seattle, fired it up before the truck took off with it and its sitting there humming along, smoking white like none other, door open right next to the turbo on the side of the head and as the driver walks by he goes whats that dripping out of the exh?? I reach in and wipe some off the floor with my fingers, oh its just diesel fuel. You woulda thunk I hit the driver with a cattle prod he took off so fast back to the cab.:eek::eek:

We don't run synthetic in our trucks, but we do plug them in. Three of my trucks just have a block heater and they work fine. My brand new one has an internal oil pan heater and a block heater. It gets warm enough plugged in that it will melt snow off the hood.

Something KW did right on my new truck. I'm very happy with the setup.
