From what I've seen in south Texas is that riggers, drill operators/rigg hands and down being cut off. However the service side or crude hauling of it is about level you can find a job with tanker/hazmat less water hauling jobs due to less new wells being drilled and so on. I'd rather stay OTR where I'm at instead of working as a rigger like I did before I started driving. Life is much easier driving than doing any part of oil field.

HESS announced a few days a go a nearly 1 billion dollar cutback verses last year. in the bakken. that's a little bit of cash.

Hopefully they fire that annoying safety guy when you go to get your Hess card, he'll talk really mellow...THEN START YELLING FOR NO REASON!!! ugh, They are the biggest safety nazis too. Not like just being extra careful but over the top ridiculous.

ND will always be hiring to some extent, it sucks there and no one wants to be there other than for money. I just hope those overpriced hotels and "homes" collapse bunch of price gougers out there.

Hello. Do any of you guys know anything about liberty crude oil transport as a owner operator? Or the midland Odessa area?
-
They have a small yard in Corpus. I checked them out last year. They were hiring company drivers. They would not pay for anything. If they supply you with something and it gets damaged in any way it comes out of your pay. You pay for your own medical certification, uniforms, h2s monitor. If they can find a way to make you pay for something they will. Not the kind of people I want to work for.
