I am looking at a job that would take me through Waco south to Austin and San Antonio. I haven't driven it in a long time. I know there is construction going on down there. Is there anyone who runs this frequently that can tell me how is it rolling down there? Is it any better at night or maybe they close lanes at night. Thanks.
How bad is the Construction/Traffic on I-35 from Waco to Austin?

Moves pretty good until there's an Accident.

Just went thru there a couple days ago~was surprised no delays considering the time of day~mid morning.

At night not too bad unless they have a closure or an accident. During the day, especially rush hour, getting through Austin just plain stinks. Maybe your new company has a toll pass and would allow you to run the 130?

It really depends on the time of day. There is a lot of construction going on right now but it usually moves pretty good.

We go through that area often and never had a problem except like everyone says....when there's an accident.

Thanks for all the replies. Appreciate it.
