I can assure you those trucks have been through **** and back, slip-seat operation and poor maintenance. When I was at YRC they deadlined 2 or 3 of our city tractors because you could literally punch a hole in the frame with a screwdriver under the cab. They didn't allow us to wash them, ever.

I'd have to agree with that assessment other than to say that the Pete's, kw,s and volvos bought since covid might be ok but have been rode hard and not well maintained by the looks of them .
Probably some newer pups and converters good and the new straight trucks .
My guess is most of the p@d equipment is scrap.

I know this for a fact. I used to haul a lot of spotters for Lazer Spot.
Always carried jump box and starter fluid , and had to call a wrecker to load them many times.

You must have smarter farmers than we do. There's a lot of interest in those old Yellow clunkers among the tomato and grain crop growers. The truck only works three or four months out of the year, if that, so it doesn't have to be anything fancy.
The trucks never get very far from the house so patching them up with duct tape, hay wire, and prayers is usually all the maintenance that gets done.
Also, there's the rock haulers that pull doubles with single axle tractors. I imagine Yellow's trucks would be a major upgrade for most of them.

    I'am pretty sure its a
. I gota have a nicer truck than my neighbors.. type thing .. they have nicer grain hauling trucks than most the of us that make our living in a truck .. I don't know of any farmers that would put more than 30k miles a year on their 200k trucks & trailers s around here
