yea, they definately charge a lot more, but if you can qualify for a grant, take it. The government takes so much money from you, why not get some of it back?
How can a person get funding for truck driver training???

I'm currently employed full time and can't travel all over for school. I'm looking to do part time training with a place near by that I can do after work and on weekends.
I know theres help available, its just a matter of how far I would have to go to get it. I don't mind paying out of pocket really. Just was saying I (and maybe others) need to get creative to make it happen. -
It's not the best option, but some companies have truck driving schools they will put you through for free if you agree to sign on with them for a certain length of time. At least in the United States there are. You could try a personal loan at the bank, borrowing money from family, or go and ask the school if they offer some sort of tuition payment plan. I went to a fairly small school in Buffalo, NY but they still allowed me to pay out the cost of the school over the length of the course. Even if the school doesn't offer any sort of payment plan, they may know of additional options that will help you.
Thanks
