What is the last six digits of your VIN? I could look up what partspro shows for your horsepower and torque.

I wouldn't go plugging a laptop into a company truck. You might get fired for that. Besides, they probably have a password set on it.

The DD15's that say 505 HP are usually switchable between 505 and somewhere around 465. Why are you worried about that anyway? If you're not having to pay for the fuel then the thing to covet is a taller rear gear. The 3.43's pull hills better than the 3.25's.

Taller rear gear on what, the transmission?

Do 3.43's accelerate faster than the 3.25's?

But what is the rear end gear?

You have not yet confirmed that the rear end gear is in the transmission.

I’m beginning to smell a troll.
If not, I suggest reading a book on the basics of mechanical operations.

Having cruise speed higher than foot pedal is by far the stupidest thing bean counters do.. it encourages cruise use at the worst times to be using cruise . It also causes elephant races when truck catches another .

I honestly don't know what the rear end gear means. I only know enuff about big rigs to do a pre-trip to get my CDL and i know about what it says in DOT's CDL manual about air brakes. That does not make me a troll.

Is the rear end gear the differential on the rear axles (drive wheel axles) of the truck?

Higher ratios are considered shorter and not taller.
