How can I find out if I can cross the canadian border?

Getting into Canada is easy. Getting back home now that's another story except for those who are not an American.

Best thing would be to call them about any concerns. Like mentioned, criminal record and dui can be a problem.

 

It's best to make sure you are not ineligible for entry before trying to cross. You make get through 99 times if they don't do a thorough search ant the 100th time you will be turned back if they do a thorough search. If you have a checkered and storied past you can get a pardon. You must have a pardon before trying to cross and it won't show on your record. If you try to cross and get caught it will always show in your record even with a pardon.
