600 hp and 1600 ftlbs of torque is nothing to make a video about.

Serious Sixty is what you need to Google with location I provided. He 100% can make a 11.1 run. I would try it before spending all the money these guys are proposing.

They can do more with newer Detroit S60. They can do 1,000HP with 6NZ cat engine. The limit is more on how much money someone wants to spend

No a DDec2 is a prom. Programmable read only memory. Its a chip like early gm cars and trucks. Your early GMs with the computer controlled quadrajet is DDC software. You actually can interface with a laptop and adjust and control the carb. Except no one had laptops back then. If you wanna spend the money, you can do neat stuff with them. But now it's still old tech.

    DDec3/4 is Programmable.

Yes, you are correct. Post DDEC 2 would be DDEC 3 and 4. Plug and play options are available for those. DDEC 2 can be tuned but ECM would have to be sent in.

@jamespmack - I found the guys, will definitely give them a call, thank you.
The engine again is year 1997 11.1L and the ECM is actually a DDEC 4 from a 12.7, it's just rated at 350 HP.

The cylinder stroke for the 11.1 is 5.47 in (139 mm), while for 12.7 is 6.30 in (160 mm).
That would mean that I would also have to change the crankshaft to a 12.7 one?
The cylinder bore is the same on both engines: 5.12 in (130 mm).

I don't know anything about the series 60 or the difference from 12.7 to 11.1, but if the larger engine has a longer stroke doesn't that mean that the block itself is different?

If you put a different crankshaft in and you have a longer stroke what will keep the Pistons from hitting the valves?

He will get you safely more power. Your not gonna get 500. His work is proven. You will be happy.
