Looks like Florida now requires you to maintain a current medical card regardless.

Well, it looks like you will have to get a physical or lose your CDL. I am sure there is a medical examiner that can help. My only concern is you avoid "doctor shopping" if you get rejected by a medical examiner and decide to see a 2nd make dang sure you tell that 2nd about the rejection. If you fail to do this sometime the FMCSA will toss that 2nd physical.

I know for a fact that a duck walk is not required. Call a couple of occupational clincs in your area to see if they do what is required, or add to it. Also try places like CVS Minute Clinic.

The "duck walk" is not an FMCSA requirement! However, it can be a carrier requirement. In the OPs case, they are better off getting a generic physical at some clinic.

My medical card expired a week ago. My CDL-A is still valid. Last year the FMCSA gave automatic extensions because of the COVID. Is anyone aware of current extensions?

I’m going to call my local CVS clinic to set up an exam.

If it expired after Dec 1 2029, you have untill May 31, 2021

Waiver in Response to the COVID-19 National Emergency – For States, CDL Holders, CLP Holders, and Interstate Drivers Operating Commercial Motor Vehicles (February 16, 2021) | FMCSA

P.S. I know you said a couple weeks ago, I added the dates for others wondering when the cutoff is.
