I've been out here nearly 30 years.
I have absolutely no issues on the left side of my face.
Granted only about half that time as a day shift driver.
How can I legally and safely block the sun while driving

Well every old guy I've ever known that lived a life worth living had wrinkles on his face. I do not believe the sun will cause wrinkles and I highly doubt it causes cancer either. If it bothers your eyes get a decent pair of sunglasses, I don't wear them because it messes with my depth perception a bit and I'm too tight to spend 100 bucks for the good sunglasses I guess.

You are getting too technical man. Tint works and prevents sun tanning and helps in the long run with overall health
-
If you don't want look like that picture stay away from photoshop .
If it was real we would all walk around half tanned . Anymore you don't even have one arm darker than the other because the window blocks a lot of the uv in now days .
We used to have one arm darker because we ran the with the windows down for a/c . -
Tinted all the way around. 5% sides, double 5% backglass and 50% the whole windshield
But I rarely drive at night tho -
Every other year go to Europe and drive.

Europe drives on the same side of the road as the US. Maybe you meant Britain or Australia or New Zealand or Japan.

I'm waiting for transition glass for the truck. How cool would that be?
