It is one thing not to encourage someone, yet quite another to discourage someone.
Discouraging may sound rude and I did not want to be rude.

 

Keep researching, keep thinking outside the box. You’ll do just fine. And btw if you speak the language of the foreign drivers or a large group of them, that’s a big advantage. Utilize any strength you have and use it to your advantage.

Go work for TQL, CH Robinson, or Coyote for a few years and there you'll have a good schooling.

 

After a while maybe a year and you are established brokers and shippers will be calling you. The first year will be your challenge. You need to be a benefit to the O/O in order to survive. Most of the people on this forum do everything on their own that is why you are getting the response from them. When I started out I met a guy starting a Dispatch Service we learned together. After a while I knew I needed to do more booking and finding freight by myself. You need freight connections in order to succeed.
