I've seen you post the same question twice, without response.

I don't have a complete answer for you. But there would be a process you need to go through, as with any job in the States.

A work Visa, a company willing to hire you. A valid CDL. You would need to go through the whole training process here in the States. Even if you know how to drive a truck, companies would view you as having ZERO experience.

    ossewa Thanks this.

Correct. Plus to get a visa you need a sponsor; someone that is willing to sign immigration papers promising to totally support you, including financially, until you get work. You would not qualify for any govt programs until you get things like SS number, etc, etc.

Best idea is to go to the nearest US Immigration office because the site requires a Philidelphia lawyer and two seeing eye dogs to wade through the bureaucratic language.:biggrin_25525:

Be aware that it's gonna cost you several thousand dollars.

Thanks u guys for your replies. As in South Africa we have a word to explain surprise or shock, its "EISH". Lots of paper work and effort hey. Shame dont they want us South Africans there, ha ha, but determination sometimes goes a long way and I'll keep looking out for hope.
