How come I never see any trucks with OOIDA decals anymore?

    I guess I need to do it since I cannot fuel up at any truckstop without someone walking up to me asking if I am an owner op. Then they are surprised and ask if that is my truck. Then they look surprised again and say "oh, you must lease it?" Nope, its mine buddy bought it. They reply "Wow! What a beautiful truck how much do you pay per month?!" I rather stick the OOIDA sticker on it to answer half of their questions.

    I wonder if we as a collective will ever learn that the problem isn't the Elog, IT IS THE HOS!!!!!.

    Wanting paper, or hating on the Elog just self incriminate us by admitting we want to cheat!
    Specially when the issue of wanting flexibility and more hours to work as you please!!! Those are Hours of Service issues and not Elog issues. Elog is just enforcing the HOS!!!.

    Now, if you told me you hated Elogs because of the added cost, loss of privacy etc. Then, yes, the Elogs suck, but they also have their "convenient" time saving pluses...

    For the love of everything you hold dears drivers. Let's come to agreement in one single thing. The Problem is, and always has been.

    The Hours Of Service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Happens everyday. I dont want you guys knowing my truck it's so unique you'll see me all over the country besides communist states since I don't service them.
