how are they loading your trailer?
single single double?
Need more details.
Trailer, product on pallet? what?
How come NO ONE talks about the importance of weight scales?

I'm do glad I'm flatbed... no sliding anything. RightWeigh gauge helps too.
-
I have had plenty of flatbed loads set incorrectly.
I had a load of capri sun put on in St Louis and they asked how I wanted it loaded. Single single double or single double double single.
You got to know what you are loading and sometimes tell them. The guys on the dock don't always know. -
I've only had a couple loads that were wrong. Told um before I left it wouldn't work on a step deck.

41K in the front two thirds of the refr trailer... I knew that was not going to work. But had to go and scale it to prove it to them.

Being able to have 40,000 on the trailer helps. Except for GP and Temple Inland. They load by incoming weight. Better be full of fuel before you get there, or youre screwed.
DrtyDiesel and airforcetoo Thank this. -
