How come trucks always pull to the right, but cars don't?

I could see trailers that have sliders ####ing to the right just a bit when turning hard to the left because of the play in the slider frame.

Look in the mirror when you're doing a tight turn in the yard with a heavy load and see how much the tandems are twisting. Wouldn't that throw the alignment off a little?

Messing with and studying old stuff my whole life I’ve noticed that 90% of the trucks I’ve seen have a slight lean to the right. Beat up from the curbside being the roughest part of the road. Also. I’d bet that most trucks are also heavier on the right side and tend to be built that way to compensate for driver on left side. Some examples of that would be on single tank setups they would usually be on right side. Or single stack exhaust. I’d argue that the right side of an engine is probably heavier then the left with the oil cooler and filters, exhaust and turbo and now the after treatment bs. If you could put your truck on a scale that measured each corner individually it would probably prove this in most cases. Also one of the biggest factors is most trucks are naturally and instinctively loaded heavier on the right side. The heaviest items tend to be put on the right side. Most of the time everything seems to shift over to the right side in transit anyways.

Then a sharp turn to the right would make it pull the other way, so you would constantly feel the truck pulling to opposite ways depending on the last turn.

On a normal trailer with fixed suspension, it would have to have a lot of wear to be moving around, so time to get wrenching on it.

I weighed a truck recently, one side at a time, the left side was heavier.
