There's lots of diesel engine idling clips on YouTube if you need the sound for sleeping.
I like the sound of running river water or ocean waves breaking when going to sleep. YouTube has lots of those too.TequilaSunrise Thanks this. -
Personal safety is definitely a concern when you stop. We team drive so we don't have that problem but my trainer did suggest using a ratchet strap between the doors so they cannot be unlocked from the outside.

Just closed all the curtains and head to straight to bed. I love sleeping in my truck bed. It is so comfortable I don't want to get out of bed. But I feel really comfortable and good sleeping in my own rig. Because I get my own peace of not bother by other people who will knock on my door. Like ex: lot lizard.

Sleep great in my truck. Love it. New Volvo mattress. 3 inch memory foam helps.
If you fear knocking at the door. Get a pit bull.
