How common are local companies with automatic trucks?

    Some might be willing to refresh on stick, but not pay for another CDL School to get the training.

    I've been in a similar situation turned down by small local companies for lack of recent manual experience. I finally got into a refresher in a medium size company driving a week in a manual with a trainer. Of course after all that, they assigned me an automatic Cascadia.

    No regrets here. I don't gamble, but do enjoy the buffet's in the casino's. Plenty to do in that town and area. Red Rock area is good for those that like to hike and off-road bicycling.
    Indoor, air-conditioned amusement parks are nice if you have children. My two love it.
