    Yep, steering wheel holders.

I’m sure they are not driving 45k pound loads down that pass like I am or they would be either be ####ting themselves or wind up over the edge.

Only place I had an almost bad time was northbound. You have that yellow caution sign for the curve leading to the bridge over the lake/reservoir. The curve is easy. You kinda laugh at the caution sign. Then you get to the other end of the bridge. It also has a caution sign, with (I believe) the same speed posted as the first sign.
You think to yourself no big deal, it will be easy like the other curve.
Only, the second curve is quite a bit sharper, and you should be using the caution speed around it.
My first time through in a semi, I drifted into the left lane a little on that second curve. Luckily no one around.
Also, if your truck wheelbase is just right, you'll be bucking a bronc on that bridge just north of Sacramento.

That's the Pitt River bridge over Lake Shasta. The speed on both of those corners is reduced to 50 from 55 so they're not that big of a deal. In winter during wet or icy weather is when you need to drop your speed even further, otherwise you'll wind up in Lake Shasta. That stretch between the lake and Weed California has a few bad turns that can cause your load to shift if you take them too fast, especially going south bound. I see at least 1 or 2 fatal truck accidents through there every year. I driver it most every week.
