I prevent it by taking my time. Especially on the headrack. Keep your mind on the task at hand. There are far better ways to make up time. I used to run around like crazy loading and unloading until one day I zigged when I should have zagged on an icy deck. Cost me a dislocated shoulder and a broken wrist. Oh and a few months off work.

Car hauling got me a torn meniscus.

Surgery on my right knee day after tomorrow... -
My 17 year old daughter just had surgery for a torn meniscus back in October. It took a good 2 months before she was back to normal.

There is an independent from up north here in NY near Watertown still at this grind in his seventies. I ran into him in Syracuse a few weeks ago, snowing, blowing and wind chill well below zero. Nothing but respect from me to guys doing this job in their 50's 60's and 70's. I'm 45, been hauling cars for over 20 years and feel it every morning.SilverBulletBand, Tall Mike, BigBob410 and 2 others Thank this.
