OK get a couple of cans of Stagg Dynamite Hot Chili. Eat a can, must be directly from the can before you change shifts. 3 weeks you should be team driving I hope, and who trains for 8 weeks now?

I would tough it out. rather than becoming adversaries, figure out how to make this guy your friend for the next month.
You now have a new goal.

There's no guarantee that whining like a little girl to operations is going to get you a better trainer.

I've never met either of you, so your trainer might be a good dude, but I doubt it or he'd know how get along with you.

I had an excellent trainer when i first started. He sat in the seat for about 10 minutes, and I drove my first 500 mile shift. Utah POE to North Platte J.

We ran as team like 5000 miles a week and the 3 weeks flew by.

I always take stock of these " My trainer sucks" threads, cause I trained, and trained some trainees, that would put the milk in the bowl before the cereal.
One guy got in the seat and started crying.
Some of you are so F'd up, it takes a week just unF you.

I think I'm going to have to steal that last line there Dave.

It is truly a golden quote.

I thank you with words, my mailman might get weirded out if I mailed out a box of corn dogs. ;)

When I started pulling tanker, I was with my trainer for 3 weeks. We were in a daycab, so I was home daily. Which was great, because he chain smoked. I'd come home at the end of the day and strip outside, carry the clothing straight into the laundry room and throw it all in the washer.

The first three days were the worst. I hated it, him, and the job. I texted my former boss and asked to come back. He said No. So there I was. Hating life.

But I realized on the fourth day that this will pass, like any other nightmare. And I began to open up to him, and he started talking about things other than work. Turned out, he was actually really cool. He told me he's kind of a jerk to all new guys, in an effort to weed out the derelicts that come through the doors looking for work.

We became good friends after that, and that friendship continues to this day, even though I've moved on to another company.

I guess you could compare it to boot camp, though I've never been in the military, I've heard the stories. I was very young and dumb when I started. I came out of training 3 weeks later (after the company figures out I didn't need training anymore and we were goofing off) with a different attitude about life in general. Turned out to be a great experience.

OP, tough it out. If you request a new trainer, the next clown may be much worse.

Whenever you think you have a carpy trainer, it just might help to remember, it could be worse. Check out this exerpt from a legendary thread titled "Werner Trainer Craps Himself":
