How did you fair this year?

Finish this school year. Schedule cdl school to begin immediately when school lets out. This way you can check it out and not have to resign from teaching until you're satisfied it's going to work out.

 

Oh, you just need a refresher course then, not the full school.
Some line haul companies have a dock to driver program. Maybe you can do that; work the docks and driver part time until they feel they can turn you loose on our own.

Don't know much about Knight. I guess they're ok though. Haven't read anything negative about the company that would dissuade me as a new driver trying to get started.
Knight merged with Swift and Knight manages both companies.

 

Easy to make $70K+ at most line haul companies.

 

Lately I've been getting better runs more consistently. They are finally sending me to California this weekend and then will be driving around Pheonix after that. First time being in that area. I know Calif. has some weird laws. I can't remember but I know my tandems have to be a certain way.

Haven't done the Vegas run either. I hear they schedule you with lots of downtime that run so you can take in the sights if you want to while you are there. Take in a show or two.
