so you could drive all day before hitting that drive time once you reached the radius?

I thought the discussion last year was once you left the radius. All time before had to be included.

You start your log but had to add the time before the log start.

It’s a 150 mile radius. You could zig zag back and forth and drive 600 miles if you want and you don’t have to log it.

And it doesn’t matter if you cross state lines either. A friend of mine loads wheat in Ellis ID and can come up to Lolo, head down 12, and be dang near to Orofino before he has to log anything.

Log starts when you leave the radius. You could drive all day in the radius if you want and take a long load at night outside the radius and be legal. Also now livestock haulers get the radius on the delivery end too.

Oh, geez, did that get extended again? I’m soooo, out of the loop....

I’ll check in with Konexial in the morning, see what they know. Seems like we’re on first name basis of late...

It will keep getting extended as long as we are still in the State of Emergency for COVID. Biden won’t give that up. I think now it goes until the end of May.

The delivery radius exemption is in effect. If anyone knows the rules about multiple deliveries, and which one determines the radius, please chime in.
For example, we deliver in Portland, OR in the evening, take a 10 and deliver Seattle the next morning. Which one determines the 150 mile radius?

I’d say reach out to the lady that runs the Trucker Nation Facebook page. She’s been in on the livestock hours of service since the beginning.
