For many people, that $700.00 a week salary would be "manna from heaven".

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

yeah I had my share of weeks well below $700, I would of loved salary during that time. Right now im in a special gig and my income is maxed pretty much how hard I want to drive, 5 days a week and im still making over $800, $1030 last week. But during the slow season thats around the corner I would love to get a salary gig.

I was payed daily too. There are no rules to this. If you can take out the taxes from the pay then go ahead and rock and roll. Its kind of like me...
    Thinking outside the box.
    Thanks

Very true, but im talking about before taxes and after your insurance is taken out which then doesn't leave you much.

I am on salary. I drive local and get the same daily rate if I haul one load or four.

Some days it works out to $14 an hour, some days much more.

    Plus I am home nightly.
