how do driver make $$ iffff

    we are either doing a live load or unload which lasts for 7 hours and are always late to the appt because of this?

    You don't ... you work until you have the experience to get away from that lousy freight. Granted you're going to have those situations anywhere you go at least on occasion, but those loads need to occur rarely, not routinely.

    If you worked for a decent company to begin with, you would be compensated for all of your on duty time. Simple as that!

    don't haul them dry boxes or reefer boxes (can't verify flatbed or tanker) my opinion

    Next time you're at a live load/unload and you've been there for 2 hours go into the office and tell them you're clock is ticking and if you're not out of there in 30 minutes the truck is going to be parked at that dock for 10 hours.
