How do I handle delivering/stopping in sundown towns I don't feel safe in

Where is your home town, if SB is Near your home town? That’s my ole stomping grounds

 

Reminds me, I need to hit up that pawn shop at some point and see what kind of deals I can score for some fb equipment.

 

Back in the day when I did dirt hauling in the San Francisco Bay Area I would take a cat nap when needed on Hegenberger. As long as the gunfire was aways away not much to worry about.
And when I was a fuel delivery driver they would send me at night to East Palo Alto, Oakland, the Tenderloin and Richmond. Seen a guy get killed by the cops as I was delivering gasoline in Newark. Just waited till it was clear, finished the load and kept on working.
It's sad what you can get used to.

they tried to get me to pick up a relay and deliver like 50 miles away to a state prison (without telling me it was a prison).

looked it up on google maps satellite view and realized it was a prison. told them I have never been to a prison and that today was not going to be any different in that regard

 

I used to deliver a prison regularly and it was a pita with the security delays.

 

If it doesn’t fit their agenda you’ll get a bunch of their popular catch phrases thrown at you.

I love how the bench mark was set at getting hung from a tree too. As long as you aren’t getting hung from a tree you got nothing to worry about I guess.

I used to go to a bunch of prisons. It sucks. Background check, you can only get in at certain times. You gotta get searched, flip the hood etc.

I just quit going after a while.

 

Both sides of it are equally stupid to me lol. People are people, if a jerk is gonna Rob ya it has little to do with the color of your skin or his...he's just gonna Rob ya. I work in progress village, east Tampa. I'm the white guy, that's actually what they call me lol and 99% of those guys around there are great. The other 1% would be jerks no matter what race they are. To say you can't stop somewhere because your white, black, purple, green, male, female, whatever is stupid. Bad neighborhood is a bad neighborhood regardless.

I’m a lot more worried about the farmers meth head son robbing me than I would be in Chicago. I’ve been all over that city and never had a single issue. People have to get over being scared of people that aren’t like you.

This dude asked about a known clan town, that’s reason for legitimate concern.

It’s not like half the stuff that gets thrown around in here about being scared of Chicago or Memphis that’s over exaggerated at that.
