I do not know how vidor is now, but it has not been that long that NO local company would send a black man there, not a concrete truck or even the labor union, period. The railroad would not even send in their tie gangs, but would send a crew out of San Antonio instead.
I know it has improved, but I would still stay in orange if I was you and just go take care of business and leave.
The same with Lumberton and Bridge city.
How do I handle delivering/stopping in sundown towns I don't feel safe in

I don't even remembe where, but I delivered in Jersey, I got there in the night and could see where I needed to be but didn't see a way to get there in a truck. One side of the road was residential, (if you want to call it something) and the other industrial) I parked and walked several blocks to find a way in with the truck, but I was not exactly alone either.
