I'm a relatively new driver, got my license in August, ran with Werner from then to a week before Xmas.
They were content to run me into high risk areas until I requested to be moved into a different and less risky account, then they terminated me due to "unacceptable safety record".
Werner has since drafted up a dirty DAC with three non-DOT reportable "preventables" two of which I am currently attempting to dispute. One "incident" is very clearly fraudulent and the other is misrepresented and would take a long list of mental gymnastics to rationalize as being my fault.
I am not one of those drivers who will always make excuses, I own a mistake when I make it. That said, how do I move past this DAC, where can I find work? I'm already feeling the struggle now and it's been a few weeks since I last drove.
I really need to pull a win out of this.
How do I move past a dirty DAC report?

Were you on one of those Dollar General accounts or something similar?
That's my guess.
Where is your location; several companies will gladly hire you.BUMBACLADWAR and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
Edit: I must have applied to over 30 companies so far and almost all of them stop dead at the review stage once their Safety department has to look at it.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Glad I never took the DG routes.

Like I said, I'm new to the industry, I'm completely ignorant of who is hiring people at my experience level and who will overlook a DAC report.Chinatown Thanks this. -

When I make such a reply I almost always get hammered on Facebook about it. I also want you to understand I am not taking sides. The first point we are only hearing one side of this story. From what I am seeing you are a less than 6 months experience driver with a terminated rehire with review on their record.
This leads me to my primary point. If there is any ( and I mean any) truth to those none (recordable) accidents (there is no such thing as a DOT reportable) you are screwed. DAC is not your primary problem. The FMCSA mandates an investigation into your employment background in regulated carriers.
Here is what I recommend you do. Follow @Chinatown with some job leads. BE 100% honest with any new prospective carrier. You will be surprised at how some of these carriers have bad reputations. Just lay your side of the story out. The next point is MAJOR! From that day on make dang sure the primary problem was that carrier. If you lose another job because of this, you will find yourself OUT! I am saying this because I don't make judgments based only on one side!Gabe2790, Woodys, Gearjammin' Penguin and 5 others Thank this. -
+This one, I think you have to Fax or Email a request for employment.
