How do I set the high idle

    I've been trying to set the high idle on my prostar and just can't seem to get it does anyone on here know how to do that I have a 2010 prostar eagle

    Not sure, but doesn't the cruise button do it. ? Tractor parking brake must be set and maybe the trailer too . Then just up the idle with cruise button. These new fangled trucks have too much electronics to suit me.

    Turn your cruise on, then hold the accel/resume switch. NOTE- your truck has to be programmed for this to work. If you cannot get it to work, you need to go to a dealer to have that option enabled.

    Or old school it and use a stick.

    Extendable arm that can be tightened works well.

    Or a box weighed down.

    Hate those tiny int pedals

    I tried the cruise it won't work either maybe I gotta take it to get programmed like you said

    I had same issue with mine, the dealer wants a 150$ labor to connect that with insite soft to set the idle rpms and change the governed speed on my truck. I have a guy in Chicago that will do it for way less and also will do test for all fault codes on your prostar isx. PM me and i will give you his number.
