How do I shim the fuel pump on an 05 MXS Cat?

    Can anybody out there tell me how to shim the fuel pump spring? And should I buy the Cat longer spring? I have an 05 Pete and am trying to get some more mpg's. I am by no means a mechanic but I do some work myself. Thanks.
