this is a personal opinion. But if you are coming on a forum to ask how to start your business. You are not really ready to start your business.

Find a company that does the work you are interested in, and see if they will lease on your truck.

I'm sure if you look around you will see dump trucks running down the road. Look at the name on the side, look up the number or address and ask them.

If you have to ask these questions is sounds like you have no idea what you are doing, and should get a company job, first.

I did dirt work in S. Ca. There are dirt brokers who many drivers work thru. Some brokers run a truck co as well. Check with Quarrys in your area or google sand and gravel/asphalt operations and check them out. What city do you live in ? Also, FYI, many jobs are out of town, like 200-300 mi and you have to buy a motel room for the week. And slow pay is the norm.

I would start by getting a job in the industry first. Get paid to learn the business. Maybe begin as a driver then try to transition into the office. Asking questions here will gain valuable insights I am sure but its no substitute for experience

This is your 4 th thread about it....

Take 200K buy 4-5 used dump trucks you need the newer ones you can afford .... hire drivers . Work for local pits paving company (big) . Or find out who has the biggest highway construction jobs and offer your services... when in doubt cut the rate....

Please get back to us and let us know how it’s going.......
