Isn’t it a shame how someone steals someone elses idea, and then take credit for it? It seems to happen a lot especially when it comes to electronics.

Good deal. That’s the way to learn. Study, practice, and give it a shot. On hand experience is the best way to learn. Let us know how it goes.

I just got finished with the: Cobra 29 LTD super modulation modification

It was easy after I figured out where to de-solder, Using Superwick Braid.

    The jumper came out easily.

I bent the capacitors legs so they fit thru the holes, and bent over the legs on the other side.

I sniped off the extra wire, then took the resistor and cut off all but about 2/8s of an inch.

then I used my 60 watt solder pen and soldered both ends to the board.

put it back together and took it to my car.

I hooked it up with a watt meter and it was putting out 1 watt, swinging to about 4 watts.

hooked up my tiny linear amplifier (70 watts)

it worked as it did before putting out 50 watts swinging to 70 watts.

I also tested splatter, on the opposing channels, and there was none.

Also I did not turn up pot VR4 or L14

So since it went well I modified one of my other radios (I have 3 Cobra 29 LTD's).
