How do I write a resume adding "trucking" considering...

First my question, then some background.
How do I write/re-write a resume to include the last 2 years of trucking to a resume that is extremely business oriented???
I ask this not because I have immediate plans to go back to the business world, but because I'm not so sure what the future holds considering a sick mother, father, among other immediate family issues that will require a great amount of my attention.

But heres the thing...my past employment has been (for the most part) in the center of corporate America; holding positions with titles such as "National Vice President of Technical Engineering", "National Director of IT Operations", "Regional VP of Sales", , etc, etc. SO...how would one add "trucker" to such a business oriented resume??? I absolutely LOVE what I do, I'm doing everything I can possibly do to remain in the industry until retirement. (at least that is the way I would like life to turn out) However, if I must return to the dreaded world of suits, ties, and breifcases, then I should, at the very least, be prepared with an updated resume.

Like my sister-in-law, I've written scores and scores of resumes on the side for internet based companies as well as individual job hunter. However, I have never seen, nor had to add, employment in the transportation industry to a resume. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Functional, Chronological, Combination, Targeted...any "type" of resume format that can be suggested will help...
