I don't have the perfect truck by far. But if I am sitting around waiting. I'll bust out a rag and some polish. Not real difficult task. After a rain. Just wipe down the aluminum. Makes the spots go away.

I keep mine washed and polished its hard to keep a cow truck clean running so many muddy/dusty dirt roads and pastures, I get it washed every week, or if I'm at the house ill usually wash it before I pull out again. I have a guy that comes to my house and polishes everything up good every few months.

Cowmobile, I feel you're pain. I haul frac sand and other oilfield-related loads (company driver, company truck), and my fresh truck wash usually wears off within a couple of hours. I try hard to keep it looking good, but it's dang near impossible, especially if it's been raining (turns most lease roads and locations into giant mud holes). I've always been one to take pride in whatever I'm driving, including my personal vehicles, but in this business, there is only so much you can do. I've actually cleaned my truck while sitting (bored) on location before, knowing that I'm gonna drive (crawl) several miles of dirt road before I reach pavement. At least maybe the windows will stay clean a while!

    Cowmobile Thanks this.
