I have been in the Army for the last 25 years; I have been deployed many times for 6 months, many times for 1 year...a few times for 15 months.......and twice for two years.......you get your recurring bills set up on auto payment from your bank account......a few weeks to a month or two from a truck would be very easy for me......being out for a few months would be a LOT easier than my experience in the Army while the war was going strong in Iraq and Afghanistan........that's why I'm pursuing a trucking job now that I'm retired....

I pay all my bills at once online. Doesn't even take 10 minutes. You can also set up auto pay. Paying your bills online means you won't get any in the mail. I just get junk mail. Get a P.O. box if you don't have a residence. If I order stuff online, I can send them to a nearby friend or relative.

Every billing entity is begging for accounts to go "paperless" for ecological reasons, and it saves them money. So if all your bills are delivered online, then pay them online.
I am local and home every night but I still have my bills set to auto-pay. Credit accounts are set to pay the minimum and I go online and bump in a little extra to pay them off earlier.
