I carry a lot of these deep shackles or long reach shackles . Grr we t the rating that works with your tie down ratings -
they work well on larger machines - often the throat on regular shaped shackles is not wide enough

There has got to be other Lowbed trucking companies in your area that can handle moving your tractor 30 miles without weeks of lead time.
For me a customer calling and asking for a move anytime in the next 3 days is money in the bank because I can fit it in my other moves and get paid twice for the same miles total time billed for the move is 2 to 3 hours if there is traffic for portal to portal or round trip.
Now maybe you are way out in the boonies and there are no equipment movers in your area and this is another business opportunity for you.
I move tractors for the owners to and from the dealers even though the dealers have trucks I Evan haul equipment off military bases the the dealers drivers don't have the proper clearance to get on base with and drop them off base for them to pick up. this trailer is an RGN Murray 16 tire mostly a west coast setup you can load over the back with excavators, dozers, wheel loaders with the neck removed I can load rollers, pavers grinders or crushers or I can load over the side with my ramps that lock into the holes in the side frames this saves time and can make it faster to deliver to job site I loaded this small drill rig yesterday but also mini excavators skid steers and even D4 and D6 pipe layers. for chains I like to cut 20 footers down to 3' and 6' some have hooks both sides but most only get a hook on one side makes pulling chains out of the chain box less hassle and some get a grab hook and some get a slip hook.cke, Midwest Trucker, CAXPT and 4 others Thank this. -

I’m in the shop putting a oil seal in and happened to remember your question. This is a 7/8 I have in the shop, it’s a oddball but usable. I have good quality 7/8” & 1” on my lowboy out front. As Godlovesdiesels and others stated Crosby is about top of the line. We used Crosby in the drilling industry when I grew up in the 70’s….
cke, Siinman, God prefers Diesels and 4 others Thank this. -
