I'd just like to know what it's going to take to keep the pickups from using the truck fuel islands.

They've got 20 other car islands that also sell diesel.

They have to quit printing those magazine articles that say, "Fuel your pickup or RV at a truckstop. They have the freshest diesel!"

I don't mind it as much if they fuel and pull up, but when they sit there on the fuel island and start vacuuming out the truck with a Dust Buster, then go walk the dog, then yeah, that chaps my nuts a little......

It's not just the truckstops. There are locals that can fit semis in also. One chain has dedicated truck fueling where the pickups for whatever reason use those instead of the other islands. Regular pickups. Pickups pulling trailers with construction equipment. Those dudes will fill their truck. Their external tank to fill their construction equipment. And the equipment they're towing. And yeah. The motorhomes too.

Don't they have fuel neck restrictors that would confine them to the small pump nozzles?

    stwik and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

Good point. I woulda thought there's a restrictor in there, but apparently not.

Nah. Knock on the window as and pour it inside when they open it. You want it to stain something so they remember.

Never gonna get old. It's like a fine wine and gets better with age.

Just park in front of them and block them out. When they get pissed when they need to leave tell them "u took my truck parking space and im on my 30 minute break, if u dont wanna get blocked in then go to the car side"

I may or may not have had experience with this before.
