Good service & friendly attitudes are so rare in the modern world it can seem bizarre in the degenerate & degraded rest of society.

you guys and your coffee, lets see if anyone reads this entire post.

Once I heard all kinds of complaints from the drivers on what they didn't like about what I supplied them to make coffee in the truck. I got a lot of pushback because the first ten or so were defective and I replaced them as soon as I could but my god, drivers complain a lot over trivial things.

So I said screw it, they all get the same thing; a cheap coffee pot, 2 gallons of waltmart's best cheap spring water, 2 pounds of course ground cheap coffee (usually get it from the dollar store when they have a close out), a bag of cleaned rocks and two foot long log that is flat on the bottom with a three inch hole in the center of it going down 4 inches.

A driver puts the log on the cat walk, put a little diesel in the center of it and light it, fill the pot up with water and put in some of the coffee (the driver has to experiment with how much to put in) then stick it on the log. Let it sit for 20 minutes and after 20 minutes, it should be ready, take a hand full of the rocks and throw it into the pot, water down the log to kill the fire and enjoy some coffee.

When the log was used up, you had to turn in the old one to get a new log. AND NO using the log inside the cab or sleeper, especially while driving.

This idea that they need a Kurig or some other fancy coffee maker, it is all the same, spits out the same black crud. I even had a driver request one of these, I told her to ... well you get the idea.

That’s when you say “Sure, you are welcome to put anything you want on or in the truck on your own dime! But if it makes a hole in the truck it’s stays even if you leave”

Well no one seemed to get the joke, I put in the first coffee makers in the trucks, stainless steel carif and it seems to work well with the inverter.
