How do you disable the speedometer on a paccar 2016?

The 86 359's with cats i bought new had a rod, the 87's with cats had the electronic throttle. I know you could change it to a rod. NV was $5 on the spot, had my share of wasting energy tickets(on the OR license, NV license was kept clean. LOL)

 

now that’s an ####### I wouldn’t mind looking at going down the road

 

Cummins used to sell a Retro fit Cruise control for mechanical Motors. (Called Cummins PT Pacer) It had a programmable Speed limiter function..
They sold heaps of them Here Back in the '90s When the 100KMH (62MPH) Truck Speed limit was Introduced here..!!


PS: I had one fitted to a Big cam 4 with the STC Fuel System & the silly Low flow Cooling

 

i love old 125 cascadias. You can put a switch on dashboard and drive

 

You can adjust any speed paramenters you want still have not had an issue as far as what i know canada or toronto is the only place they check if you truck is locked to 65mph other than that no issues, the new trucks now you can do this with a call to volvo or fleet manager can do this with a phone call, and you can change tire size and ratio as well but in volvo is rev per mile or imp. there is a formula to get this done or get the value i would not suggest going this way it doesn't matter what speedo shows speed is speed so you can get tickets ( had a driver get arrested after and argument with officer that he was not speeding cuz tire size was off in ecm) But you can not do anything if they go to 5mph derate with newer ones i have not found any tricks yet.

 

It's already not 100% accurate since IFTA reporting doesn't use fractions of a dollar for fuel purchases or fractions of a mile.
